Prof. Johannes Fischer from Germany developed a circuit for and wrote an article on how to add a squelch circuit to the R390A. I converted it into a 4 page PDF file which I've asked Al to post on the FAQ site.
I will also be glad to email a copy to any who wish it. Please reply off list.
