Subject: [R-390] Tech doc package

GM List,

I have assembled a number of technical articles in PDF form totaling about
7Mbytes. I will mass email them in one bundle due to the time yahoo takes
to check for virus's in PDS's . Use the delete key for what you don't want.
The articles are:

"Cheaper and simpler Mods for the R390A" by noted Rocky Mountain R390A and
SP600 remanufacturer Chuck Felton. It originally appeared in Electric Radio
8/04.

"High dynamic range receiver input" by Ulrich Rhode

MOSFET 6V6 & 6AQ5 from Electronics World

"Receiver noise figure, sensitivity and dynamic range- what the numbers
mean" by the late Jim Fisk. From HR 10/75. This is THE definitive article
on receiver specification information.

"The R390A and its squelch facility" by Johannes Fischer (list member)

"AGC - Ending The Moment Of Silence: The Way They Should Have Done It" By
David Wise Both the long and short versions.

Chapter 9 Additional trouble-shooting (beta-rough) of the revised Y2K
manual. By Perry Sandeen Chapter 11 Upgrades, Mods miscellaneous additions
for the true heretic experimenter. By Perry Sandeen

This is good stuff by many authors. Due to my time restraints both are as
raw as a pound of hamburger fresh from the store. You'll have to sort it
out for what might interests you.

Most of these will be posted on the FAQ site in the near future.

Regards, Perrier
