[R-390] new to the list

Hello all, Dave,  KD7TOA. I've been lurking on the list for a while.   
With the help of a friend who is the expert, we are fixing up an  
R-390A.  My fixer-upper was missing the glass in the dial cover, but  
I found that a microscope slide will fit in there nicely. It's a  
little wider than the edge of the clips so a tiny bit of silicon glue  
or other adhesive at the edge of the glass will keep it from  
shifting. A pair of clips the right size could be cut from a beer can  
with scissors for the non purists.
