I concur with Don, I bought my own spiral binder a few years ago on 
eBay, minimizes space and the resulting book can be folded in half 
minimizing space on the bench.  I keep "C" size drawings of the 
schematics I use the most.

I have a laptop by the bench, but I still prefer a good old paper 
manual.  But then again I still use my analog volt meter as well ... 73,
