Greetings,

Right next to where I parked to setup, there was what looked at first to be a R-390A. Of course I had to look and on closer inspection, OOOooo... a R-390 IF Deck!!! Owner said he never noticed it as it was in a rack for years and was just pulled out before Nearfest. That was how he picked it up "ages ago". There is no data tag, just the four little screws. No printed contract info on back like my '67EAC has. At the time I couldn't remember the Part # for this unit but found George R. and he reminded me, R-725. Had I found one right next to the Jeep Liberty? Last thing I could afford in todays economy was another R-390 series radio but the price was good and I was feeling adventerous. A quick series of calls and in the long run I had found a new owner for my '67 EAC and am now listening to the ?R-725?. Without tags I guess I'll never know if it is a "Real" R-725 or a homemade one. Is there anything else that would confirm this for me? It's
has a good condition silkscrened panel with meters, one replacement small knob.on the Line Gain control, (Anyone want to part with a real one?) a Collins PTO, single fuse on AC Mains only. Any comments to confirm real or home made will be welcome.

Also found a great deal on a LS-139/G dual Speaker panel with Jensen speakers and transformers still there. The ?R-725? and SP600-JX are playing on it now. Only was there Friday and missed the AM dinner sorting out the final details of the R-390A trade out for ?R-725? but I think it was worth it!

Any other R390 stuff I missed there?
