[R-390] John Leary circuit info

For the SP 600 anthology I’m attempting to get all the John Leary information possible.  Les
Locklear sent me copies of what he had.

One page appeared to be a copy from QST however there was no reference footer.  Figure 1 showed a
6EH7 frame grid tube as an RF amplifier.  Figure 2 shows a 6EJ7 as a mixer.  John’s notes that he
used this in at least one of his later receivers.  A reference from the web indicates that came
from QST 6/66 p.41 and QST 7/66 p.49.

I would appreciate it if any on the list could send me copies of those articles or if my
references are wrong, the correct article(s).

As john’s SP 600’s displayed  spectacular performance I’m trying to obtain all of the technical
information that I can so others can reproduce his results.  Of course this is so we have another
receiver to compare with the R-390A.  (Saving disclaimer to avoid being labeled OT.)

An other data one would have would be appreciated.
