One caution with Tinnerman nuts -- they don't have much reach, so 
depending on how close the mounting holes on the rack/cabinet are to 
the opening through which the radio passes, the threaded part of the 
Tinnerman may not reach the center of the mounting hole.  I've seen 
many a 390 and SP-600 mounted with screws that have to go in at an 
angle because of this.  The floating clipnuts that Aircraft Spruce 
sells do not have this problem.
