[R-390] PTO setup ?

Hi

The spring is pretty easy to replace. A spring from a ball point pen
is a bit more than you need, but it works.

Are you missing PTO's - as in you need to buy a pair?

I assume they are simply out of the radio.

1) Get the PTO on the same frequency as the radio. A frequency counter
is a good thing here.
2) Drop the PTO in and line up the axis of the PTO with the tuning
shaft in the radio as best you can
3) Put in the coupler and spring
4) Check to be sure the coupler is a bit loose (not binding)
5) Tighten down the screws
6) Re check everything

That should do it
