[R-390] R390A Beta Progress

GM List,

Many people have written me expressing their thanks and corrections for the new Y3K beta for which
I’m grateful.  Yet I’m just the geek at the tip of the iceberg.  I’ve spent 7 years part time on
assembling this yet others have spend the same amount or more.  This revision would not have
happened without the help of all those mentioned in the in the Chapter 00 credits.

However there are some “Cheap Charlie(s)” [If the shoe fits: wear it] who use this list only to
beg for parts which they then use for their commercial gain.  Unfortunately there will always be
these leaches.

This information would not have happened if it wasn’t for the efforts of Hauser net, the R390A net
and the QSL net.  Please send $10 or more to :

Without their efforts we would be up the Proverbial Out Of Positiveness creek without a paddle.

Al will then divide up the money for the host severers.

But wait!  There’s more!  To the highest donor I will send, post paid of course, the Glorious,
Rare, Original Collins Factory NOS 6BA6 tube previously mentioned on the reflector.  Now even
Radio Swarmy (of KY.) doesn’t offer a deal like this!

So step up to the plate or all this will become just a memory, ‘cause the “other guy” just isn’t
going to do it.
