[R-390] RE: R-390 Digest, Vol 46, Issue 25

Hi Rich- I wondered if I would turn up someone with some actual experience  
from that time and place.  I'm guessing the autotune R-390s were used for  DF 
purposes.  Were they making a transition to solid-state radios in the  early 
'70s, or was the site still well endowed with  R-390s?
