Crossed my mind for a µsec.... nope. Doesn't look right. I use the big one on the wall to tell time.

If you have an uncontrollable urge to change the look and feel of a R390, a useful gizmo *might* be a small B+ meter in the place of the VU meter.
I put one in a Hammarlund HQ-100 in place of the clock when I was a kid.
