In that case then, yes, you might gain from replacing the caps.  Of course, 
if the caps are still good, then it won't help.  It could be that they no 
longer are the correct value(s) for the circuit as other things have drifted 
over time.  Big advantage to trimmers on these circuits.  You might even 
consider incorporating them per the upgraded versions of these decks if 
possible.
