[R-390] Barry Hauser

Dear friends,

Our invaluable, and very missed, Barry passed away suddenly in
January. I intended to visit him when I was in New York in May, and
so tried to contact him. David Hauser replied as above. I did not at
that time want to go into what would happen to his unique collection,
and I thought there was enough grapevine that a lot of the American
members of the list would already be informed. (thought I must have
missed the mail)

He represented the best of this list: incredibly helpful,
knowledgeable, sociable and dedicated.
