[R-390] new guy

Hi, my name is Bill and I own an R390a. I used to think there was 
something terribly wrong with myself, but now I realize that this 
"disease" can and will afflict people from all walks of life. I used to 
try to substitute solid state rigs in its place, but I would always slip 
and come back to that warm glow. Now, I've finally surrendered to the 
fact that I'm hooked and there is no "cure".

I tell you what Frank, you're off to quite a start! Have a lot of fun 
with it, and definitely consider getting your license. I got mine last 
Feb and it's been great. I just got a brand new rig that I'm on the air 
with, but I've got an old Heathkit DX-100 that I hope will someday sit 
next to the 390a for some AM/CW work.
