[R-390] WTB: R-388/URR or R-390A

If, you are truly "into" BCB DX'ing, you will want a R-390/URR or as the "X
Generation Crowd" says, a "non A."
The R-388/URR or any of its variations are 10db "deafer." I know that isn't
"correct English," but the "non A," isn't correct terminology no matter how
you cut it.
There were Two (2) different receivers built, the R-390/URR and the
R-390A/URR, the differences are well known but, some people seem to think
that saying "non A" is the correct terminology......'nuff said.
Errrrr, not quite, I have a SP-600 coupled with a digital fraequency display
that is the equal of "any" of the R-388 or R-390 series.
Time for summer and to get off my once yearly soap box about the "Non A."
(which doesn't exist).
