Yes, thanks Dave,

I'm used to big tube amps that draw a lot of plate current when standby is 
switched off or transmitters which do the same thing. I think mine may be 
doing it though because of the long gradual build up in voltage of the 
inrush limiter, it doesn't do it if plugged into the wall bypassing the 
limiter, or it could be a hint of a later problem?
