Hah! The only outfit I ever knew that sold gold-plated-pin tubes was
Radio Shack! Is "Realistic" a European brand? :-) (Actually many of
them labeled "made in England" or "made in Holland" were made
in Eastern Europe in the 70's, but I believe all the plating was done
at Tandy headquarters!)
