You didn't do anything I didn't do. I am a Ham and I am not a cheapo. (that
label is not universal) I have no problem paying for quality and own top
notch gear. I like nice stuff! But it's pretty simple...I can buy a widget
from vendor "A" for $100 or I can buy the same widget from vendor "E" for
$35....
Yup...free market is good! Paying more for something than you should
doesn't ensure you stay out of the "Cheapo" club...but will certainly put
you into a completely different club.
You name it!
Just my opinion though....
