Keep in mind, surplus houses don't live off ham radio sales. They sell back
to the government, private companies/contractors, schools, etc. So, surplus
dealers often have prices higher than what we "cheapo" hams want to pay
:-).....but, I have found wonderful deals in those places as well on items
that are not as mainstream. So, consider them just another source and don't
condemn them for asking prices higher than some other source on some items.
God love the free market system!
I have purchased from Glen and have had wonderful dealings with him.
