The lingo used at Fair radio matches the terminology
used for "full-size" BNC's: the end with the bayonet pins
usually found on the chassis is the jack/female, the
end with the bayonet slots usually found on the cable
is the plug/male.
Although essentially the MB connectors, with the pin in
the jack, can lead to the confusion similar to describing
reverse-polarity TNC's, which are everywhere these
days. I also occasionally see reverse-polarity BNC's. So
I will admit the terminology gets confusing and you
need to start showing pictures!
