You may have to crank up the audio generator and RF generator and start 
injecting some where in the audio deck and work back to the IF one tube and cap at 
a time.

Your current problem way not be the results of your work.
Some other wire broke while you were working on your problem.

Just the luck of the draw and some other parts wants some equal time and 
attention.
