Fellows,

There is no need to jam everything into one file or format.
Left keep the original files in there formats and just include them on the CD
or into the web site. Zip them up into bundles for folks with fast
connections.

For those who have viewers let them have the source.

When you reduce every thing to the lowest common denominator your back to an
Army TM black ink on paper bound one way and in one style to cover every
condition.

We can put some art in the document so you do not get these blank square
boxes. But also add a note that the other documents with more detail exist as
another file. Put the file name in the note. If the viewer has the tools to access
the other files OK. If their interest is such that they want to view those
files then they will have to find the tools they need.

The Fellows doing this work are volunteering their time, skills and knowledge
of tools. They owe no one a canned do all serve all document. Want you see is
what you get and we need to thank them again for all that they have provided.

Then again we own them the and future owner operators the courtesy of
preserving and sharing what has been provided to us.

Now and then Don ask us for funds to support the reflector. The Fellows ask
for funds to cover mailing and CD production cost. The amount requested does
not begin to cover time and resources that went into the production.

All things considered I think the web pages we have and the stuff we have to
down load is wonderful.

Getting it advertised to the new receiver owners for their education needs
constant work here on the reflector.

Think the input on this thread is good. Lots of ideas to get the work done at
low tool cost. Education is always good.

But let think lots of diversity in tools, file formats and content.
