Hi Scott,
Running the R-390 24/7 puts a lot of hours on the tubes. Do you run any 
forced-air cooling into the radio? Do the tubes have the black IERC-type tube 
shields?  Reducing the heat of the tubes should dramatically increase their life 
especially when running them 24/7.
