I totally agree with what Robert wrote above.
An additional point to keep in mind is that, if I understand aright,
the R-390 and R-390A were not designed to be just bolted into a rack
without some form of support for the (heavy) remainder of the radio,
but that they need support at the back or along both sides. Failure to
provide this support may cause the gears behind the front panel to
bind and/or to wear prematurely.
