[R-390] WTB: frequency synthesizer or synthesized-frequency function generator

Once again I'm looking for a frequency synthesizer that will step in 
increments of
1 Hz, or better still 0.1 Hz. Upper limit of perhaps 1,000 kHz (1.000 MHz).

Some newer function generators have this DSS capability of stepping in 0.1 Hz
steps to 5 MHz and beyond. I don't care a hoot about what waveshape it
outputs: Sine, square, triangular, circular, bumpy, backwards; just the
ability to "dial in" a frequency.

Doesn't have to work. Just so it doesn't take a mint to buy parts that are no
longer manufactured!
