This is my opinion of course but I am going to express it here....

We have been acknowledged by the seller as a very knowledgeable and detail
oriented group...it appears that the seller has great respect for this
group. What does he get from several members of this group....accusations,
questions of his honesty/integrity, further questions of it's
authenticity...etc...etc...etc.

The most knowledgeable, experienced and those most personally involved in
the research into the 1984 Fowler radio history have spoken on this
particular seller and his radio and still comments......that basically
accuse this guy and his radio are a scam.

It's almost as though the nay sayers are wishing it weren't so.....but for
once in a blue moon you are looking at the real deal and in the most
pristine condition one could ask for. An opportunity of a lifetime for a
serious collector.

Give this guy a break.....

He's done a good job of describing what he has and the history behind how it
came into being.

He's provided quality pictures of the things that count....he has updated
his description (following all the questions raised) to include information
that further prove
that it's the real deal.

What else do you want....signed and numbered documents from the Department
of Defense? Not happening!

Yes the price is going to be high....as it should be. Personally I hope he
gets 10K for it. (looked at vintage Shelby Mustangs lately.....even
knock-offs)

What would you do if you owned this radio and had decided to sell
it.....offer it to this group for $1500.....to keep it in the family......I
don't think so!

If I were seriously interested in this piece of history, I would fly out
and put my hands on the radio..meet the seller, make him an offer he
couldn't refuse and haul it home in a rental car....deal done! There are
never going to be more than 5 and chances are this one and SN#1 that M.M.
owned will be the two nicest ones remaining in existence. A third was sold
by Mish and it came from the SJC pile by his account and was shipped out of
the country. There are many questions about that particular radio.... The
other two....who knows...quite possibly gone forever!

The Real Deal folks.....Let it have it's 9 days in the sun...probably not to
be seen again for a very long time....if ever in our life times!

My 2 cents worth....fire at will!

For the record I have never spoken to the seller, V.H. but know him and his
radio through folks that have!
