[R-390] Sola Tele Volt Transformer

I have a Sola Tele Volt constant voltage transformer model 7202.  Can
anyone point me in the direction of a schematic for this unit.  This
Sola Tele volt is a stand alone unit to which you plug other things
into it. This particular unit weights about 40 pounds and makes a
great book end.  But I have an unregulated 28VDC power supply I want
to plug into the Sola to at least give it a  regulated input voltage.
I out a new cord on it and discovered a relay that had been bypassed
for whatever reason. It was missing it's return spring I installed a
new spring and put it back in circuit. I don't know exactly what this
relay does but I hope it turns the unit on when whatever is plugged
into to it is powered up.
