Just for kicks I measured the five NOS 17MC spares I picked up at Fair:

Equipment: HP 5334A Counter, HeathKit TO-1 Test Oscillator

BTW, the TO-1 is a very handy piece of test gear.  Generates RF at
262KC, 455KC, 465KC, 600KC and 1400KC and can be modulated @ 400 CPS.
Has two crystal sockets (HC-6 and FT-243 style) for adding other IF
frequencies or just checking crystals.
