[R-390] Packing for R-390s

Hello,

I spent 22 years in the Navy, but was never around R-390s. How did they 
pack them coming out of Depot?  Were they packed in in 2 by 4's? Maybe 
good enough for shipping for an Ebay sell, but my experience with the 
military has been to seal them in in metal foil with decessant crystals 
inside inside of a quality shipping container.

The reason I asked, is our old buddy radio mart is selling a R-390A in a 
wooden crate. Ebay number  250085954686. Does this look like depot work? 
It is probably a nice crate, but I find it hard to believe that is the 
way the military shipped expensive equipment. A pack of fuses was double 
wrapped and sealed in foil.

I know that Radio Mart would not lie to make a buck, his morals are 
unquestioned. (HI HI)
