Hello Pete,
Now mind ya mate, we need to have a starting point in which to begin the search.  The City, State, Country would be fine for starters.  If he has an Amateur Radio Call, we can always punch up QRZ.COM, and get his email. When was the last email that you received from him.   Personally, I haven't heard of the gent, but them my mind has been slipping as of late. If he's stuck in a snow drift, it may be to late. When I was in the Alps of Switzerland and Northern Italy, we always had mans best friend, The GREAT SAINT BERNARD who had his trusty survival keg strapped to he neck. Definitely a blessing when he rescued you from the snow drift or alvalanche.  The hopefully he is just snowed in and can't get on the air.  In any event, we will keep him in our prayers.
