That's humorous. I've not seen that differentiation verbalized in that way
before....."Ham Price not Ebay price".

I received my enrollment offer from AARP recently....declined out of vanity
I guess. I didn't know we Ham's got discounts on stuff too. Guess I've
been paying too much for everything including on Ebay by not using it.

A quick check of Ebay shows prices recently between $600 and change for a
really nice looking original and working example and something over $1300
for one in a cabinet.

I would imagine one could be found from someone's pile of stuff that they
may never get around to...in unknown but complete condition for $350-$400 if
you don't mind the inch of dirt, greasy crud, or rat droppings....I would be
surprised though. Considering the meters today are selling for nearly $100
each.

What's the latest prices anyone has seen at any of the Hamfests?

Still any complete examples offered for $150-$250 anymore? We don't have
Hamfests in this area anymore to speak of so I'm out of touch on what the
Ham to Ham pricing is these days.
