probably will show enough money for needs. I'm already taxed enough,
thank you. We cut taxes in the early 1980's and revenue increased by
something like 90% over the next couple of years. Taxes were raised
again and guess how long it took for revenue to drop."

One other aspect of these highways/bridges/taxes.
Wisconsin has a gasoline tax (like many states). The revenue
from that tax goes into a fund for maintaning roads and bridges.
Problem is that State Govenors raid the fund(s) when, due to overspending,
the General Fund is short by two or three hundred million.
Minnesota used have that problem too, but I think a couple of
years ago they made a law that says those monies must be used
for highways and bridges.  A little late though.
