I was kinda disappointed for Victor as well.  I understand that 
eBay's roolz prohibit soliciting cash payments they certainly have no 
way (nor is it their business) to prohibit it as a means of payment 
after the sale is ended.

What I think they're trying to do is to cover their corporate butt 
here.  Since only a very small percentage of the transactions are 
completed in person they assume that none are and thus their 
rule.  What they are really saying is that they do not want people 
sending cash in the mail so as to maintain their stated function as a 
venue for sellers and buyers to get together.

I would expect that Victor has been corresponding with the major 
players and will likely cut a deal with one of them off eBay, thus 
depriving them of their commission which they do not deserve.

One thing is for sure; it was a great show!  I hope Victor will let 
us know how it all turns out in the end.
