Further to Saturday's progress report; I am now ok for electrolytics.
I went to a radio rally (hamfest) today, and found an electrolytic of
the correct dimensions, no embossed printing, just a label, but solder
tag fitting. I also found a relay with an octal base. I have now
married them together with new innards and a rubber gasket and the
result is very pleasing. Of course, having the correct numbers on the
can would be an improvement but I am for the moment happy with it.

I am still looking for an output transformer though. There were none
of those at the rally!
