The collectors should thank me for selling mine.  I had a couple just  
a few years ago, if I'd have kept them, they'd not be worth anywhere  
near that.

Moral: never get rid of anything until it becomes a collector's item.

Murphy's Law Regarding Collector's Items: Nothing becomes a  
collector's item until at least a month after you've gotten rid of or  
given away your last one.

Disclaimer: I'm not faulting the seller.  If that's what they bring  
these days, so be it.
