[R-390] Peoria Hamfest

I was on business in Chicago last week and ended up having to stay in the
area for a meeting in Indianapolis today.  I saw a listing announcing the
Hamfest by Larry WA9VRH and sent him a quick note, he in turn said I would
not be disappointed.

It was a great regional Hamfest lot's of stuff and vendors.  Bought a bunch
of Bud aluminum slope front cabinets still in their original containers from
the 1960's, some BA tubes, wire and a model 300 Triplett meter with an amp
probe and leather case, new, still in a sealed container.  With some clever
packing I was able to haul it all back on the plane to Houston today, 1 bag,
1 box 48 Lbs. each!

Larry and his other cohorts laid out the red carpet, the weather was cool
and dry.  Thanks again to folks in Peoria, they are great hosts ... Tom,
