[R-390] 390A---and a bedside radio

The Lowe HF-150 is a good radio...little sparse on the features but it's a
nice performer. My 17 yr. old Son has a Lowe HF-225 Europa. Probably their
best effort before their design engineer left the company and built the 7030
series for AOR. The 7030 is a great radio but it looks more like a scanner
than a communications receiver....and the features are buried layers deep in
the menu tree. Not an easy radio to use but has many nice features.
Probably would be a tops computer controlled rig where all the bells and
whistles were managed with a graphical interface....

Cecil....
