[R-390] Tube Substitutes

Excuse my greenhorn questions, but has anyone tried using 6BH6 tubes in 
the 390 in place of the 6BJ6?  With what results?

Are the accessories originally found on the back panel of the R-390 ever 
available?  I know there are some tube pullers at Fair Radio (I think), 
but I haven't been able to find any of the other items.  I am assuming 
they are long gone.
