Welcome to your first firestorm.

Yes, you can use an isolation transformer if you want to waste about $100, give up a lot of space
and do additional wiring. But you will be luddite ORIGINAL AS ART MADE IT. (BFD)

Heretics like me take the filter out and put in one as they use on computer power supplies.  They
cost from almost free at a PC shop for a defective computer PS to about $10 from Mouser others.

You’ll have the same problem with un-modified SP 600’s. (THE best BA band-cruiser ever made)

Yes, you don’t have a SP 600 now but wait, this is an addictive hobby with no known cure other
than going toes up.
