I fail to see a collapse in the vacuum tube market except for series string
television tubes - especially tube types that rarely used in non-television
applications.  Given time there might be people figuring out how to use
3BA6's in 6V circuits so bury those TV tubes in a box in the back yard
rather than sending them to the landfill.

It is good to know that there are certain markets that are not dominated by
eBay. 

I can see it now, you go to safeway and there is a sign where the
pineapples used to be telling you to check seller "safeway69" on eBay for
good deals on pineapples.  L@@K fresh pineapples, your winning bid is
