[R-390] Nice Boatanchor!!

Count me in too!  I was so relieved to find the good ol' B/A voting 
machines still at the school here on Long Island, complete with that 
lever that automatically closes and opens the curtain.  Then there's the 
satisfying clunk, clunk, clunk as you cast your votes, and the 
gratifying, reassuring clackity, clackity crunch as you swing the lever 
back.

The front panel was even the right shade of gray.

I suppose they're not really tamper-proof either -- and imagine there 
can be "issues" if a drive gear or two slips one of the hundred or more 
odd Veeder Root counters in the back.

I hope they don't swap 'em for electronic ones.  That's the way we're 
used to voting in NYS -- flipping a bunch of small levers and then a big 
one on a machine that weighs a few hundred pounds and was built in the 
U.S. of A.
