[R-390] R-390 Alignment

OK, Next question for those who would care to venture an opinion.  I am
aligning my R-390 (non A).  To align the IF section, you first align at the
2 kc selectivity setting which proceeded without problems.  Then you shift
to the 8 kc setting and align T501.  When I do this something is evidently
taking off as my HP-410B on the diode load goes to full scale, I am using
the 0-10 volt scale, and no reduction of the signal generator (HP-606B)
output will reduce it.

Any suggestions as to where to start looking?
