Ya'll wake up.....here is your chance....(been too quiet around here)
I don't want to box them up and I need the space and don't plan to do any
further work on them......
I have probably 6 maybe 7 complete R-1051 receivers, all in various states
of repair but none work fully. Some pieces and parts and a box of misc.
modules. I want them gone! I do have one working R-1051 plain and I plan
to keep it and it's manual, so it's not included in this deal. These
receivers have not been out in the weather, they have been kept in my Air
Conditioned shop for the last 7 or 8 years. Prior to that these were the
last of the complete R-1051's that Fair Radio had....I bought them all!
Stipulations.....You got to take all of it....if you want to split them up
that's ok after they are all picked up and out of here. They will fit
easily in the back of a small pickup, or an SUV with the rear seat folded
down with no problem.
I will not part any of them out to ship piece parts to folks.....Fair Radio
sales has plenty of those!
I know you are asking why am I not listing these on the R-1051 list....good
question! That's where they go next.....The R-390 list is kinda my home
list and I have been helped here a great deal over the years so you guys get
first shot. If no takers in the next few days I will list them on the 1051
list. If no takers there I will scrap the aluminum and send the rest to the
landfill! I know how you guys hate to see that happen so come and get these
radio's.
I feel I could probably list them on ebay and sell them individually for
probably $150 each but I don't want the hassle.....life is too short!
I live in Gulfport MS a few miles north of where Interstate 10 and MS Hwy 49
intersect...not hard to find.
Of course I would be happy to take a tired but restorable R-390/URR as a
gift in this process but it's not necessary to own this R-1051 pile.
Thanks....
