Perhaps there may be some alternate solutions.  

There are several published AF Deck improvements by Chuck Ripple, Chuck Felton. Jan Skirrow and
others (I have an article I got off the net but I forgot to transfer the authors name that uses a
6AQ5 for the output tube) that produce vast improvements in fidelity.

If a Dan Currey filter was added to the existing "A" IF deck as well as stagger tuning, this might
give great results and save the trouble of a module modification and be cheaper as well. Regards,
