Jim,

Yes, I was referring to commercial gear to put some perspective out there.
Thanks for the note about what I said. One person is writing me off list and
acting like he is echelons above me in his lofty position as speaker/rack
equipment guru. He doesn't know me and it is laughable. Personally, I
wouldn't worry too much about speakers. Maybe the enclosures could do with
some work to help the speakers along, but some people don't have much of an
ear to whether it sounds this way or that. I don't care about HF audio
except that I want to hear what being received. Beacon chasing below 500 is
another matter all together. You really have to pay attention to the audio
then!
