[R-390] Two questions as I put an R-390a back together

Hi:

I have fixed up an R-390a and found I had to do the front panel and 
knobs.  I did not take careful enough notes and the manuals probably 
have the answer, but so far I've had no luck answering the following:

1)  Does the bezel have the lights towards the bottom of the front 
panel or towards the top?  (The panel has the parts labels for the 
lights below the hole, but the wire for power suggests the top would 
be better).

2)  There are two types of non-megacycle/ kilocycle knobs larger and 
smaller.  Where do the larger ones go?  (The pictures and drawings 
make both look the same size to my eyes.)
