Hi Bob,

A good replacement for the selenium rectifier is one of the full wave bridge 
modules having all 4 terminals at one end and rated at 6 amps.  That current 
rating is way more than you need, but those parts have a hole for mounting 
to a heatsink.  Bolt it to the original rectifier's mounting bracket; that 
makes for a clean, convenient installation.
