As kids 20's - 30's we use to chase each others around the shop with a 67
1/2 volt (467, I think) B battery. Nice on the neck.

The walking VOM

Barry sez:
Truthfully no -- I was going to try it again for old time's sake, but no
matter how many I buy, I can't seem to lay my hands on the right sized
batteries one when I need 'em. The only thing handy right now is one of
those little 9-volt jobbies -- and I seem to remember a bad experience
taste-testing those -- a bit too tart for my sensibilities.

Be sure to add to the safety section of the Y2K Rev 3 -- "Whatever you do,
DO NOT test GFI's with your tongue. Also, keep one hand in your pocket at
all times. Better yet, keep BOTH hands in your pockets."

Oh, and my late Mom would like to make sure you add "Be careful with that
thing - -you'll put your eye out!"
(or get electricuted or burn the house down, or .... whatever).
