[R-390] R-390 "deadly components"

Jeez Roger, that is a little harsh!  BTW, the word is cheap, even if I don't 
agree with your choice of words.

I rather think of the R390A as a design solution to make the radio easier 
and less expensive to repair, which I'm sure was an overriding design 
requirement.  There may be some performance differences, but I like to think 
the "A" model is more than adequate!  Just my humble opinion...
