Gentlemen, I find that with my health not being what it should that I can't horse these things around anymore, so, Iam selling my last 390A, here's what you get...

1. Motorola 390A that I went through about 3 years ago, complete tear down, rebuilt the gear train cleaned and lubed every gear, recapped the IF module and did the product detector mod that uses the 6BE6 in place of the 6BA6 that was in Ham radio Magazine many years ago (works great) and is replacable if you want to. The RX has both meters and the top cover, not the bottom cover, the orginal front panel thats on the reciever is pretty worn out, however included is another front panel thats in good condition and is engraved not silk-screened (my plans were to strip it and repaint but never got to it).

2. Spare IF module with everything except the ballast tube, in good working condition and orginal (no caps replaced).

3. spare BFO coil and bellows and shaft.

4. A good copy of the orginal manual, can't remember the guy that makes em but their as good as the orginal.

A good working radio, on 30 MC a 75 meter diople will bring the noise level way up and I live in a very quiet area, Min drift on the VFO and youcan calibrate it on every band, on the broadcast band every station shows up at the 10KC points so I assume it tracks very well, I think I have a gutted audio module also.

THE Negatives-- In the process of repainting the knobs I lost the RF gain Knob, never replaced it, easy to get, I play it every week for a couple of hours, the Carrier zero adjustments needs to be readjusted (Iam too lazy to do it). Iam not a motavited seller, I won't ship this but I will drive it from Syracuse Ny east to Albany, West to Buffalo, South to Scranton PA and for our Canadian friends north to Ogdensburgh NY, and if Iam still here a year fron Now I will problary rue the day I sold it.

And all yours for a small sum of $600.00, as the commerical says "come and get it"
